Garbage Finder

Garbage Finder is a system maintenance tool designed to help you keep your disk clean and speedup Windows. It removes unused and junk files that could dramatically slow your PC. Garbage Finder, with its intuitive and easy to use interface, helps you quickly to find and to wipe out all the garbage files.

Using of the program is really easy, even beginners will appreciate it. On the other hand Garbage Finder contains settings for advanced users that more risky but with better effect.

Add a facility to create a restore point automatically - I don't see anywhere to create one via the program

It's important to create a restore point when this type of program is run in case something essential is deleted.

Exclude system files from the scan unless you enable scanning manually - This will stop novice users from deleting essential files accidentally

Add a facility to create a restore point automatically - I don't see anywhere to create one via the program

Include a database of important and essential windows files that shouldn't be deleted.

Provide a way to automatically recover accidentally deleted files.

Remove system files from the full scan

Include a recovery system so that files accidentally removed can be restored

A desktop icon would be nice.

Create a user defined database that includes well knows applications that are safe to run on your computer. These could be validated using a series of security software

Include a portable app so that you can use it on all your systems without having to install it to all of them

This should be part of a package that includes start up facilities and other security software such as AV, pop up blockers, trojan horse and root kit detectors and cleaners.

The GUI is rather garish, enable the use of additional skins for user preference

Developers should look @ what freewares r available and then offer something 'extra/special' 4 the money.
